§ 3. Salary.

Latest version.

The annual salary of the Mayor shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00), and the salary of each of the Councilmembers shall be ten dollars ($10.00) for each meeting attended, but not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00) for any one (1) year.

Such salaries may be changed by ordinance, however, the Mayor and each member of the City Council that enacted such ordinance shall not receive any increased salary thereunder until after the expiration of their current term of office.
